Tell us about yourself

I started my career at Oracle Corporation back in 1986 with version 4 of their database. I worked there through versions 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9 before leaving to help friends create database-driven websites. When it became apparent that the Oracle database was prohibitively expensive for most projects, I turned to PostgreSQL due to its rich feature set and BSD license. I was eventually attracted to EnterpriseDB because of their work with PostgreSQL and spent three wonderful years there before leaving to work with one of their customers. Now I am with Sony Computer Entertainment America (SCEA) working in the Playstation research and development group where we use PostgreSQL extensively.
